SWITCHING SETLISTS ON THE FLY

1. On the System MIDI page, make sure MIDI OUT/THRU is set to OUT (NOT THRU!).

2. Using a standard MIDI cable, connect the MIDI OUT of the HD500 back to its MIDI IN.

3. Choose a patch from which you want to switch setlists.

4. Hold MOVE for two seconds to access the MIDI Assign page.

5. Cursor to FS1 and assign:

1. MIDI CH to Base
2. MESSAGE to Bank Change
3. BANK # to the value of the desired Setlist (Setlist 1 is 000, Setlist 2 is 001, Setlist 3 is 002, etc.)

6. Press HOME and save your patch.

7. Press FS1.

HD500 instantly jumps to the setlist selected in step 5.


Now your feet can access 512 presets (instead of 64).
